Intro to Ruler Quilting with Judy Stupak - Wednesday, January 16 or Saturday, January 19
Do you struggle to achieve long straight lines, nice flowing curves, or perfect circles when you FMQ? By using Long Arm Quilting Rulers you can achieve better FMQ results on your domestic sewing machine. There is also a lot less marking involved when you use rulers, so you will have your quilt tops quilted in a fraction of the time it normally takes.
By the end of the class you will have a square quilted that you can keep as a sampler or if desired, you can make it into a cushion.
Pre-requisite: You do not need to be an expert at Free Motion Quilting, but you should be comfortable with the feel of moving fabric under the needle.
This class will be taught using the Janome Ruler Set. The ruler set can be purchased at the shop. You will also need to have a ruler foot on your machine to be able to participate in this class. We will have a limited selection of high shank and low shank rulers to be used by students.
Class runs from 9:00 - 4:00
